Orrefors is distinguished by timeless design and a classic design style with simple and clear lines. At an early stage Orrefors formed close ties with artists to engender what today has become a world-renowned style of design. Names such as Simon Gate and Edward Hald have become legendary. Now Orrefors is once again displaying historical glass in its exhibition hall.

Today designers such as Ingegerd Råman, Lena Bergström, Martti Rytkönen and Erika Lagerbielke carry on the proud designer tradition, creating modern, stylistically pure glass. In the Crystal Shop you can buy Orrefors glass at factory prices.

The grounds of the glassworks at Orrefors are a real cultural environment dating back to the 18th century, when an ironworks operated here. In the area you will find the Guest Villa that served as both a residence for the director and a facility for entertaining, the Apple Orchard, the Hammer-mill and the exciting exhibition hall by Bengt Gate that displays Orrefors’ historical collections.
